Is it possible to have more than one account manager page on a site?
I have created 2 because I have 2 levels of access permissions each with different required fields.
I have noticed, however, that when I view the Not Logged In page of the second account manager asset that it is displaying the %create_invite% message from the first account manager asset.
Am I striving for the impossible? Would I be able to get round the problem by creating the second account manager under another site and domain?
Appreciate any pointers.
Each account manager page acts independently, so you can have as many as you want. The only reason why the two managers would be sharing content is if they had been configured to do so, or if the default messages had not been changed.
Ahh, found out what the problem was.
It was because the nested content design area customisation that was supposed to be displaying Account Manager Page 2 hadn't updated (even though the interface showed the correct reference), and was still showing the uncustomised value of Account Manager Page 1.
This bug has tripped me up before, so I guess I should have realised sooner.
Has the way nested content design areas sometimes fail to update already been logged as a bug, or should I report it?
The only thing is, I'm not sure whether it happens every time…
Do you have caching on? That may cause the nested content area to not be updated. If not, report it as a bug because there is not one already.
