I just set up an account manager page for the first time, as we are building a new blog where users can sign up. When testing it, with the option of Use Email Validation set to Yes, the Validation email is never received. There is nothing in the mail logs either. All other forms of emailing work fine on our system (triggers, forms, etc.).
Is there a bug in 3.16.8, which prevents the email from being sent? I looked through the bug tracker and found lots of bugs that have been fixed for the account manager page, some were very similar to this, but not identical.
I have created an account manager page on my 3.18.6 site, and it sends the email correctly.

What is the email address you were testing with? Did you use the same one for both tests?
