AGIFT Thesaurus --Anyone?

Are there any Govt. Depts who have deployed the AGIFT thesaurus in Matrix utilising full relationships i.e. broader, narrow, related and use?

I have managed to deploy it using narrow relationships but without the other relationships defined it lacks the cues to navigate and select appropriate keywords.

As part of our move towards a fully compliant AGIFT thesaurus system in Matrix I’m attempting to implement the hierarchy of relationships in xml and have nearly completed CIVIC INFRASTRUCTURE. If no one has done this but would like to use AGIFT in Matrix then I am keen to share the load of creating xml relationships and have attached an example of one top level function BUSINESS SUPPORT AND REGULATION as an example. There are around 25 top level functions of similar complexity to the one attached here that would need porting to xml.

Of course if someone has done this already I would be forever in their debt

Cheers

I have also attached the AGIFT xml file that I created albeit only with narrow relationships described if anyone wants this.

I believe we already have the full AGIFT and TAGS thesaurus in XML format with all the relationships. I know we have TAGS for sure, but I'll have to double-check on AGIFT.

Ok, I have the full AGIFT with BT/NT relationship and TAGS with BT/NT/RT/UF. The AGIFT source we were able to get from NAA did not have enough information to build the RT/UF relationships. Copyright prohibits us from distributing these thesauri (which is why I have removed the downloads, btw). Please contact Squiz directly for information on how to obtain source XML files for use by Australian Government departments only.

Thanks Avi, will do.
