Hi,
We have a page with a login (iframe) into an external system.
Currently by manually editing a javascript file we can get the page to display downtime warning, disable the login button, etc… The javascript allows for some scheduling to be done a week or two in advance.
I would like to do this in Matrix. Basically, we would like to get a different content display and that the switch of content could be scheduled. Some sort of future status comes to mind, but we also want to keep it simple and maintenable therefore setting a future status per content (there are 3-4 content according to the different messages) may be more complicated than keeping the javascript.
So, has anybody done this in Matrix in a smart way?
Any suggestions welcome.
Cheers.
Is it something you can do with future linking the appropriate div in and out of the page?
I would suggest that a "time of day/day of week/time period" style conditional would be really useful here, if anyone feels like funding it.
That way, you can use paint layouts or nested content to show different content based on the time of day/day of week/period, etc.
