Anchor Tag Stripped Out

I've come across this strange problem with a new server/matrix build.



Whenever there is an anchor tag with the same url path as the current page, the anchor tag is completely stripped out.





I have used similar setting and havn't come across this issue, bit weird.

Found the Problem:


Just noticed in v4.6.3 there is an option to disable self links, which by default it is set to Yes!!!



phew, i thought i had to build the server again.

Just from my curiosity, should an anchor just be like
rather than
? If so how could “disable self links” affect? -Robin
