Are there any plans for Matrix to support CMIS to enable better interoperability with enterprise ECM’s?

It is not scheduled, but it is on our radar for a while. We've been doing a lot of integration work lately, both pulling content into Matrix and taking content from out of it. CMIS is a natural step to provide improved interoperability.
Any news on this?
