Any Quicksearch features?

Hi,


I'm wanting to preform a specific search to find an asset in the quicksearch bar in matrix backend.



I need this search to be able to search all the children of the asset id specified within the search, and not the whole tree



is this possible to do with the quicksearch?



are there any advanced search features available?

No, the quick search will search everything on your Matrix install. You should look into setting up a Search Page if you want to specify the root node. Or, better yet, try a Search Folder so that you can set the root node, and search for specific words and assets.
