Hi squiz folk - asset builder key word has a release locks %release_locks_button% on the Standard Page Edit Form Layout but what about the acquire locks button keyword?
If a user loses the locks how will they be able to get the locks back to be able to edit the page again without having to use EditPlus?
Any help would be appreciated

UPDATE: So there is no facility within an asset builder to manually acquire the locks to the created asset - this should happen automatically. Then why have %release_locks_button% keyword??
If a user loses the locks for any reason then make sure you first have a copy of the URL or use the asset builder URL with ?edit=123456 to get back to it.
It’s mainly used for simple edit editing, which is mainly used by standalone simple edit layouts used on a standard page or such, not when used in asset builders. It’s showing you that keyword as available because you are simply just editing a simple edit layout and it doesn’t take into account that it’s part of an asset builder.
It should def be removed from the list though, so I’ll report that as a bug.
When you use the "edit asset’ functionality on an asset builder, you automatically get the locks on it always.
