Asset builder has strange behaviour

Running 3.18.2 on RHEL5


We have an Asset Builder to allow users to create pages, using Dynamic Create Locations. The root node is the site and has been working well until users started creating items 5 levels down.

Site > Guides > Family History > Australia > Western Australia > Problem level



The problem is the first two assets at that level created do not appear in the Asset Builder list. Third, fourth, fifth etc. all appear. They all show in the backend though.



The maximum depth has been set at 0, 7 & 9 to no avail, the options of radio button, dropdown list, tree view have all be tried with no success.



Need to resolve the issue as I have users needing to create assets 6 levels downs.
