Asset Builder not creating Asset

I'm currently trying to use the Asset Builder asset on a demo site i have access to but can't seem to get it to create the pdf asset i'm trying to create.


I've followed the steps in Chapter 2 of the CMS Module User Manual.



I chose pdf as the Asset Type allowed to create and a staus of Live for the new asset.



I created a new Set containing three locations for the user to chose from. They were two standard pages and one asset listsing page.



I chose the name attribute in the required attributes.



I didn't change the messages.



In the Not Logged In Page i added %login_invite%, %login_form%

In the Logged In Page i added



%create_invite%



%a_field%



%create_form%



In the Created i added



%created_assetid% %created_asset_name% %created_asset_short_name% %created_asset_url%



Now when i Preview the page i'm already logged in and i get the location drop down box, the browse button and text box and the commit button.



I choose a location and then choose a pdf file thay doesn't exceed the file size limit (nowhere near) and click the commit button. The progress bar moves along and when complete it shows the asset listing page as that is the location i chose. I don't get any edit boxes to fill in, nothing.



But the new asset isn't created or listed when it goes to the asset listing.



What am i missing??

Weird. It should show you the Created bodycopy, with the keywords replaced by the details of the new asset.


Can you check mysource_matrix/data/private/logs/error.log for any messages from page_asset_builder.inc (or even any other errors that may be occuring).

I can't check the logs as it is a demo site and i don't have access to the server. It is through the guys in the UK Squiz office that i have access to this demo site.

Double posting to add that I've just configured an asset builder on my test v3.2.2 site and it works as expected. Email me the details of the demo site you're using and I can check it out.


Heh, not quite a double post. You got in before me! Could you email the Squiz UK guys that setup the site access and let them know you're having this issue?
