Hello,
we are just moving our new intranet from the dev server to the production server. We have Matrix up and running but when trying to access the System Manangement folder we get the following error:

The matrix_feed folder is installed and my Sys Ad assures me all the permissions are correct, so what could the cause be?

That is a permission denied error, so I would get your SysAdmin to double-check both file permission and ownership to make sure all the code files are readable by the Apache process.
Also, that is a custom asset, so you may want to speak to Squiz Support for further assistance.
