Asset list - sorting grouped assets by date metadata

Matrix Version: 5.3.3

I’m using an asset list in the following way:

  • Asset grouping by Metadata field. This is fine.
  • Within the group, I want to sort the assets in Date order - by a Metadata field of ‘Date/Time’ type. I’m doing this at ‘asset list’ level, but it isn’t working. Is it possible to sort assets once they’ve been grouped using built-in functions?
