Asset listing and parent name

I should be able to this, but I am just having a brain fade.


I have an asset listing that goes down two levels (I want to sort all categorized assets by date) but in the listing along with the asset details I want the parent's (category) name.



No luck with keywords (%parent_name% does not want to play) or a nested asset listing looking back up the tree.

  • Type format - asset contents with paint layout



    Paint layout
  • asset content
  • nest 2nd asset listing



    2nd asset listing
  • list asset which maximum 1 step up the tree

    Which was exactly what I was doing, the 2nd asset listing Replacement Root node was SESSION Variable Name list_current_asset_id



    It should of worked. after Aleks post I knew I was on right track, double checked everything and then it worked. Don't know why, but it just started working.
