Maybe it's just me as I can't find any mention of this throughout the forums but I am trying to correctly sort a date field in an asset listing and it is not sorting the field properly. It appears to just be sorting the text of the date itself rather than putting it in chronological order, so months like April appear first. The date field is pulled from the metadata of the asset, which is configured as a date metadata field.
What is wrong?
I think there is a drop-down somewhere around there on the asset listing which allows for presentation or raw data format for sorting. You want Raw so that it sorts of the timestamp and not the pretty formatted value.
