Asset Listing not returning any results

I know this should be easy, but it does not want to play fair. I have read the Asset Listing Manual, and followed everything I have found but the page will always return “No results were found.” I am researching getting this going and we may end up moving to the SSV.

I took a screenshot of the details that I have set for it and highlighted the assets I was trying to list. The assets in the Customers folder to make a separate menu of sorts. All assets have public read permissions, and I am doing this as the root so this shouldn’t have anything to do with it.

Any ideas since this is driving me batty?

It seems that you are using a “Related Asset Listing Page” rather than a normal asset listing page. Was this the intention?

Without setting a related page (which must have tagging) when using a Related Asset Listing page, you won’t get any results. Try using a normal asset listing page instead.

Thankyou nnhubbard! I must not have had see the regular listing asset before.

I got it listing like it was supposed to, but I am not getting the grouping right. I have the following working using a custom grouping:

[codebox]

Folder 1

Item 1

Item 2

Folder 2

Item 1

[/codebox]

Once I add in a folder that has two levels before files it displays them as if it were another asset in the root.

[codebox]

Folder 1

Item 1

Item 2

Folder 2

Item 1

Folder 3

Folder 1

Item 1

Folder 2

Item 1

Item 1

[/codebox]

Shows as:

[codebox]

Folder 1

Item 1

Item 2

Folder 1

Item 1

Folder 2

Item 1

Folder 2

Item 1

Folder 3

Folder 1

Folder 2

Item 1

[/codebox]

When I add a second group as the manual says (from the manual p. 37 "If you select after group level 1, an group will be created within group 1. This allows you to create a group within a group."), it only shows the two deepest folders. I did not add any restrictions to hide the previous results.

[codebox]

Folder 1

Item 1

Folder 2

Item 1

[/codebox]

Again, is there something that I am missing?
