One of my users put a multiple page asset into safe edit mode. I then created a new page as part of the multiple page asset.
The asset now seems to be trapped in its current status. I can't approve or cancel safe edit mode.
The new page itself is under construction but it says it's status must be changed from the details screen of the multiple page it belongs to.
If I try and approve the changes I get this error:
[attachment=439:approvesafeedit.gif]
If I try and cancel safe edit I get:
[attachment=440:cancelsafeedit.gif]
There are no jobs stuck in the HIPO herder.
What should I do now?
approvesafeedit.gif (7.94 KB)
cancelsafeedit.gif (9.79 KB)
This used to happen a bit on older systems, if I recall correctly the only way to fix it is to manually change the status in the database. If you provide the asset id then possibly a dev can write some SQL to fix it - or advise if there is now a better way to fix this.

Submit a support ticket. Someone will need to look at the DB and file system before determining if queries will work.
Thanks for the advice; have lodged a ticket.
