Our website has gone live recently. My colleagues want to edit their allocated pages through simple edit. I added them as backend users. However, when they go in the simple edit page, they cannot see any content copy. I used my admin username and password and I could edit the content without a problem. Can anyone advise me how to resolve this issue please?
Thanks…
Do they have an "Acquire Locks" button on the page? I don't suppose you could post a screenshot of what the page looks like when the person is in Simple Edit?
No, it doesn't have an 'aquire locks' button.
There should be an attachment uploader at the bottom of each "Post Reply" form.
If there's no "Acquire Locks" button, it could be permissions or workflow related (though that doesn't really explain why they can't see the content). I'd recommend posting a screenshot of the frontend, and also a screenshot of the Permissions screen of the asset in question so we can check that the permissions are right.
Please see attached. The second one is the in the simple edit mode.

Hrmm, I'm not sure, that does look strange. %globals_*% keywords don't get replaced in Simple Edit I don't think. Not sure if that is related though.
Also, don't forget this is a public forum and anyone can view your screenshots. If you don't want to divulge information to the public about your system, people's names etc. I recommend cropping or removing those images.

%globals_% appears when I logged in as an administrator as well, only I can edit the content but the other backend users can't.
