I'm trying to set up a conditional keyword regexp to allow for a paint layout to respond to different responses from a select element in a form, but there doesn't appear to be any way of specifying a particular question on this screen.
If you select 'question_answer_X_qY' as the keyword, then hit Commit, I would expect a couple more boxes to appear to allow for entering the X and Y values. However, on our 4.2.0 install, no boxes appear.
The expected behaviour works for keywords ending in the underscore symbol, but not for any of the question_answer ones. Is there a fix for this in later versions?

Hi Matthew,
I was trying to set up locally what you are describing above but having difficulties for the same. Are you selecting 'questions_answer_X_qY' as keyword on 'Conditional Keywords' screen of the paint layout asset? If yes what is the type of format you are looking at?
Would you be able to walk us through the set up. Screen shots would help too.
Cheers,
Ash

Sure:
Set up a form with at least one question. It doesn't have to have any styling or page layouts.
Set up a paint layout, with a Form Submission type format.
On the Form Submission type format's Conditional Keywords screen, add a new condition of 'Logical' or 'Keyword Regexp' type
From the Options section of the new condition, choose the keyword 'question_answer_X_qY' and Commit the page
No input boxes to allow setting the X and Y parts of the keyword appear.
To compare, try selecting the keyword 'asset_metadata_' and Committing the page - a new input box will appear to allow for completing the keyword.
I can also confirm that this is an issue. I had wanted to do this in the past but wasn't able to because of the above issue.

Sweet!
Thanks for walking me through the set up. This does look like a bug which I will lodge on your behalf after having a closer look at the issue. The issue is happening on the DEV system.
Cheers,
Ash
Alrighty the issue is lodged and can be seen at bug #5572 Conditional Keyword for Paint Layout doesn’t let you configure the question id in keywords like ‘question_answer_X_qY’
Thank you - is there a timescale for this to be implemented?

Looks like it is already marked as complete and will be released next month, on March 5th.
