Im setting up a bulkmail in a website, i have a newsletter subscription page already setup and some assets that are needed for the sending of email to the subscribed recipients. I am just confused about my bulkmail job status, it is always "waiting to run". I already made a bulkmailer with this format */15 * * * * php /path_to_matrix/packages/bulkmail/run.php but still it did not send an email to any of the subscribed recipients. I set up the crontab using the root account, i dont know if that matters since i had read somewhere in the forum that u have to set up the cron under the apache or mysource account. Can anybody help me about this? Do i need an additional script for this? I already tested the bulkmail preview to my email and it works fine (it sends the email to the email add i supplied), the only thing that i am worrying is the crontab to send the email to all the subscribed users since i cant see what or when the errors occured. I also set to live the bulkmail job. Your response is highly appreciated.
