Right now, our company manages our calendar through a Filemaker database, which then is called from the web to display the calendar events for the day, week, ect. We are in the process of moving over to Matrix, so I have a question about the Calendar Module. Is it possible to create a front end interface for adding events to the calendar? Such as, customize the form, and have 5 or 10 fields that I can add events for, then click submit, and all 10 events will be entered. This would be extreamly useful, since right now, we use a custom build filemaker file, and when we move to Matrix, I want the interface to be similar. Just click from the front-end, "add event", and the page changes to allow the user to add all the events, dates, detalis, ect, then click submit and it goes into the database.
Is this something that is possible, or would it take a custom module creation?

The Calendar module allows you to create single and recurring events from the front-end using the standard Asset Builder module. If you link the asset builder to the Calendar page, you are able to click in the calendar to start the event creation process. You are also able to use drag-and-drop to move events around.
However, you can only create one event at a time – currently, you are not able to mass create events.
