Calendar page - Next and Previous options

Is it possible to tweak the calendar so that it's only possible to go forward from the current month? I still want both Next and Previous options for the calendar, but to remove the Previous option when someone is in the current month…


We archive calendar events after they're held so it's not a good user experience to have the Previous option available from the current month when there is nothing to display.

Have you tried doing this? (it works for me in 4.4.1)


  • Navigate to the details screen of the Calendar asset
    [*]Scroll down to "Settings for Month View"
    [*]For "Navigation Limit", select 0 months backward and 12 moths forward


The calendar asset should allow you to scroll backwards and forwards when you're not on the current month. On the current month it should only give you a "Next Month" link.

thanks daem0n, that works really well, but I'd also like the same to happen for the calendar picker. Any ideas on that?
