Calling a user defined design, and user defined paint layout

Is there a way to call both a user defined design, and a user defined paint layout in the same URL?

I would have thought you just add both query string vars to the URL. They have different names (SQ_DESIGN_NAME and SQ_PAINT_LAYOUT_NAME) so they should both work together.

Thanks, I just could not find the way to call a user defined paint layout in any of the manuals.
