WARNING: Purge aborted, unable to delete "Group Level 1 Format" (Id: #1577) [HIPO0004]

When I do a search for asset number it can find it but I cannot tell where it is.

Squiz MySource v3.12.1 (Matrix)

Thanks.

Hi,

you can locate your asset by doing a search on it, once the asset details come up, you can select "Dependants" in the drop down box on the top right corner of the screen (next to the GO button). That will bring you to dependant screen, you will see a binocular icon next to the asset link in the main screen, clicking on it will expand the asset map and highlight the item in the asset map.

Thank you for your reply!

Do not have binocular icon next to asset link, only have blue info icon that gives you more info about asset when hover over it.

Infomation displayed when viewingn dependants, below:

~INFO ICON~ Content DIV 1566 (Id: #1566) [UNLOCKED] Under Construction

  • The status of the dependent asset is higher than the status of "Content DIV 1566"

** The status of the dependent asset is lower than the status of "Content DIV 1566"

    Thanks!

This would mean that Matrix thinks there are no backend-viewable (ie. TYPE_1 or TYPE_2) links to asset. Whether there are some TYPE_3 or NOTICE links to the asset, or whether the asset is completely orphaned, is hard to tell. Since this is a bodycopy asset that you’re trying to find, as there is no Linking screen for that asset.

Does the Group Level format you’re having problems with have a Content DIV underneath it? (Look in the Group Level format’s Dependents screen.) If so, go to that asset and look at its Linking screen. Does it show any lineages, or “None”? If the latter, then your group format is most probably orphaned. I don’t know why it would be affecting trashing though.

If it is indeed orphaned, there is a script you can use (system_integrity_orphaned_assets.php, found in the “scripts” underneath the Matrix root) that will allow you to link that orphaned asset to another (that you create beforehand, typically a folder), so you can then trash it in a normal way, if you so desire.

Or that this version of Matrix doesn't have that feature

EDIT: 3.12.1 does have this. Must be a bad link.

Was having another error with making assets live, gave MySource more memory and restarted Apache Server and fixed problem. Also upgraded from 3.12.1 to 3.12.2.

Thanks for your help.
