We have lots of PDF and Word assets on our site. I'd like to categorise these, e.g. 'reports', 'brochures', 'downloadable forms'.
This would allow event tracking in Google Analytics. That way I can track total downloads as an event, but also see what types of files are being downloaded.
Mark up might be : My brochure
Would you create a metadata schema (with a file category) and apply these to files?
