We have a number of pages that nest asset listings. I am trying to work out what is the best way to change the date updated on the page that nests the asset listing.
Obviously we do not want to have to manually version the page every time the asset listing changes.
You cant update the page's "last updated date" without manually doing it or making a change to the page itself.
Not even with triggers? Without knowing too much about them is there a way to version the asset when another action is performed?
There is a trigger action to increment the version of an asset, but it will only update the version for the asset that was updated or modified in some way. Because you want an event to fire on the nested listing and then have the version incremented on the standard page, it wont work.
