Hi
We've got a website running on Matrix 4.0.1.
Could anyone tell me, is there a way to clone a whole website, or part of a website, either through the administration interface or some other means?
Apologies if it's a dumb question, but I've read the manuals and can't see an obvious way to do it.
Thanks
Matt
Matrix does have a mass cloning tool, however for a website I'd be more inclined to use the XML export/import script located in the scripts directory on your Matrix server. Running the scripts does require a little bit of command line know-how, but they aren't particularly difficult.

Thanks Anthony, that's exactly what I needed to know. Are there any practical limits on how much you can export and import at one time? The site has a few hundred pages.
I can see the "Import Assets from XML" tool under the "Tools" menu, but not the "Export Assets to XML" equvalent that's mentioned in the online manual (http://manuals.matrix.squizsuite.net/tools/chapters/export-assets-to-xml-tool/). Is it new since 4.0.1, or am I looking in the wrong place?
Thanks Again
Matt

It is new.
If you are on an older version you will need to use the script.

Thanks, I'll do that.
