we have a site asset in a folder, ie. "??? Website" (folder) with some groups having public having read, author/approver having write permissions and admin having admin permission. Under this folder we have the site asset with various permissions.
My questions is with the ??? Website (folder) - who can delete this? Does anyone need admin permissions to this folder or do they need only read permissions.
My concern is that the approver, authors and admins (not sys admin) can accidently trash this folder with everything in it.
The user deleting the asset needs a minimum of write access to the asset they are deleting and it's parent. This means those users can trash assets, but it requires system admin permissions to purge the trash.
