CSV Data Source asset listing loading speed

Hi,

I have set up a filtered CSV Data Source asset listing. The filtering is straightforward—matching a word in a column. There are just over 500 records in this data set.

The asset listing is taking 20-25 seconds to load. This delay is too long, and I may have to consider a non-Matrix solution. Is this normal? If not, is there anything I can do to reduce this loading time?
