Hi all,
I am just wondering if there are anyone out there that have created a page asset with some standard information that can be cloned using the simple editor? And in that respect, applying information to the cloned page?
It is intended to be a template page where users then can choose a template (which is a standard page asset, containing some information for the user to update).

I think that it would be great if it was possible for the editor to add a new page and in that process choose from some pre-defined templates of the body. Then he/she could add up the content into the template.
Is this what you are looking for as well?
In v3.12, there is a Create Clone trigger action. If you combined this with an asset list of the templates perhaps, you could get Matrix to auto-clone an asset.

Avi: When will there be a stable version of v3.12 and will we be eligble for an upgrade?
Think that will be such a great benefit to the system that it is hard to express

I believe the stable release of v3.12 is due early next year, but we don't have a fixed date yet (as far as I know). When the product is released, you can either download it from the website or if you use the commercial/premium modules, you need to request a new copy from Squiz Support.
Look for 3.12 from Monday 8th Jan 2007.
