I've written a custom form, it's currently under construction. The form is all set up in a Body Copy and I've got a Thank You applied. The problem is that the Thank you page doesn't seem to be showing the responses from the data entered into the form. Is this a new bug?
We've tested email options and the emails are sending off the responses without a hitch.
If you have a bodycopy set up for the Thank You page, then the responses will not automatically appear. There are response keywords available to insert answers from questions into the Thank You bodycopy; this allows you to customise the Thank You page beyond the simple list the regular submission summary gives you.
If you still want the simple list in the Thank You bodycopy, you can use the "Submission Summary" (%form_summary%) keyword and it'll give you the same as you would get if you had no bodycopy - then you can customise the rest of the bodycopy around that.
Hope this helps
Actually, I have set up the Thank You page bodycopy with the response keywords
ie. %response_340978_q8% however, after filling out the form, the thank you page displays without responses, but it does send the email with responses.
Okay, I took a look at my 3.4.3 system and it was doing the same thing; there was a small problem with the keyword replacements in custom form. It has been logged (bug #743) and fixed, and should appear in the next 3.4 stable release. (For other peoples’ reference, this does not occur in 3.5 and later versions.)
Is there any chance of getting a patch for this? The thank you/confirmation pages for a lot of our forms are suddenly not working because of this bug, and we are getting enquiries from concerned users.
If a patch isn't likely, could you let me know so I can amend the thankyou pages on our custom forms, please.
Version 3.4.4 (which will include this fix among others) is going to be released this coming Monday (4th), so it's not likely that there will be a patch specific to this before then.
