Is there a way to display the child assets of calendar events using the Calendar asset Type Formats?
I have multiple events occurring on the same day, and each event has some individual information such as a PDF file. Using the Type Formats I can list out each event and display the event info, but when I nest an asset list on this bodycopy and attempt to pass a dynamic root node using the current asset id, it returns no results.
The dynamic root node is a child of the static root node; viewing the asset listing and appending a query to the URL works fine (i.e. asset-listing?id=123456); status, permissions, and type codes all configured correctly. Screenshot is attached of the asset listing Dynamic Parameters and the Single Event Format bodycopy that has the nested content. Happy to provide more information if needed.
It just seems that the asset ID isn't getting passed through correctly or perhaps this isn't the correct use of the root nodes in this situation. I've had no issues passing in a variable this way in the past so my thinking is that the Single Event Format bodycopy can't handle this due to a bug or feature.
Has anyone tried this successfully or have an alternative workaround if this isn't going to work?

Hmmm, I have a bad feeling this is not supported.
When have you tried this before? Are you sure you didn't use it in an Asset Listing rather than a Calendar asset?

Ah yep that's what I meant about trying before. No issues when using an Asset Listing page - only discovered this when using a Calendar page.

I was afraid of that. Thought maybe using v4.10.2 would have given some support. Might have to be a feature request

Yeah, I always wanted things like list_current_asset_id to work with Calendar Assets, but currently it doesn't.
I might add a feature request if I remember. Thanks for your input Nic
