Document Root Element Is Missing Problem

I work for Altrunet - we are an independent web design company in the UK and we have one of our own customers using Matrix version 3.2.2.

They regularly get this "document root element is missing" problem when using the asset map and it is driving them mad. It always happens when they expand an element in the asset map such as a folder.

I noticed the post about this on 26th October. Could you please give me an update on this problem with regard to:

  1. How to stop it occuring
  2. How to recover from it with the least hassle
  3. Is there a specific configuration of browser/OS/java/Matrix versions that cause it to occur? (since it doesn't happen for me on my machine).

    Thanks,

    Antony Dennis.

Can you put a link to the post here.

Thanks for the leg work

This particular problem has not yet been fixed because we have not properly assesed the security risk of allowing the login key (which is changing and causing the error) to remain constant for a session.

Guys…

Thanks for the reply.

I need to get back to the customer asap on this, so if you could please help me understand how to relieve the acute pain they are suffering, it would be really appreciated.

Guys…

Forget the last post. I thought I would not have permission to access your bug tracking system, but I have now worked it out, logged in and found the answers I need.

I'll see if it works for the customer!
