Got the Easy Edit Suite working on most of the other browsers except for Internet Explorer, when I load it up I keep getting the following error?
"Unable to determine link information" not sure how to tackle this one for Internet explorer browsers.
The EES Build Revision: 832.
Hey Yogi
This happens no matter what (upon load) in IE?
Cheers

Hi Scott
Based on your statement yes: I get that error when i type _edit followed by the url address on any IE. IS there a fix for it or have I done something wrong?
Sorry, should have asked what ie version? Is this ie9 only or happens in 7,8 and 9? The solution will vary dependibg on whether this is ie9 specific.

That version was created during the IE 9 beta. There are likely to be a raft of IE 9 issues. Even though we don't particularly like it, perhaps you could force IE 9 into compatibility mode to see if that gets past your immediate issue.

This is the reason I was digging about ie9 specifically. Even though chrome is not supported in your version, I think you'll find that chrome would throw the same error… related to some core browser based JS changes made in ie9 and chrome.
The error you are experiencing has also been linked to issue #1370, please see http://matrix.squizsuite.net/patches/ees-build-1141 for related details. Based on your comment earlier though (the build number) you would need a matrix upgrade to be able to get the newer EES build.
Outside of upgrading, your ownly workaround for this one would be to use Firefox or IE7/8. Anthony suggests forcing ie9 to compatibility mode, but this may cause you headaches later on.
