Just curious where we can download the Easy Edit Suite as the Documentation page says it is a separate download. Can't find it on the Matrix site.
Itching to try it out!!
I guess the website hasn't been updated fully yet?

Well that sucks. They tease us, the make us wait.
Tease, tease, tease - you love it
The download will be up in a day or two, with the install instructions. We are just testing them to make sure we have them right first.
Wow, can't wait to play!!
I stayed up late refreshing pages looking for that! now we play the waiting game.

No!!!
I have scheduled a meeting with my boss and director at 9 am tomorrow to demo Easy Edit! Heads will roll…unless you can email me a pre-release download link?
Nice try buddy… I heard there was a preview being emailed out to people in order of the highest number of posts on this forum

I better be getting one then!
You're all dreamin!
Will we still need to configure all the simple edit layouts for easy edit?

Nope. Just a JS API asset so EES can talk to Matrix.
If you have an existing simple edit interface for one of your URLs, we will not be touching it. You can wack in the EES code and give it a go and then just revert back if you prefer your custom one. You can also configure it per design, so you can put EES on some parts of your system and leave normal simple edit on others.

Ok, enough teasing, it has been 2 days.
Yeah, public (or not quite so public) beta? We'll play with it for you
We've just pushed the EES download and install guide live. You can find it here: http://manuals.matrix.squiz.net/ees/chapters/installation
(download instructions included)
Please note that a late change was made to the 3.28.0 download. Ensure you have the latest version of fudge/wysiwyg/wysiwyg.inc in your 3.28.0 installation before installing the EES.
Have fun!
If you have any issues, please create new threads. See if you can figure them out though; I'm dead tired so probably wont respond until the morning
Got it running now, and it's very nice.
Makes it very easy for site owners to have a slick edit interface for their users.
Was the new login page design (as seen here http://manuals.matrix.squiz.net/ees/chapters/overview) meant to be in the EES package?

I promised myself I would go home and have a drink, but could not help but check the forums (I lied Greg!) it's good to hear you were able to install without issues and have it working already (breathes sigh of relief) please let us know if you think we need to adjust the install guide if it was not clear enough.
Feel free to provide feedback on your experience, there are a number of known issues that will be fixed by end of phase 2. We're just getting it on its feet
Yay… phase 1 complete! What's phase 2 you ask?!? Watch this space!!!
I'm off to get that drink or 2… or 5 actually.

I think so, but I have to check it out. Can't remember how that login design was implemented.
