Email alerts with workflows using LDAP users

Hi,
I've come across a problem with setting up our workflows. We use an ldap bridge to bring in user permissions and have tied those to roles within workflows. The problem is that we can't assign email addresses (not that I can see) to the ldap user. So when the first person in the workflow tries to "Apply for Approval" an email isn't sent out to the next person in line and an error is thrown.

I have a work-around by setting up triggers to handle this, but I still get the error message.



Firstly, is there a better way to do this? Also, how can I get rid of the error message?

When you configure an LDAP bridge, you select which attribute is going to be used as the email address. If this is configured correctly, LDAP users will have email address and Matrix can send them email without any problems.
