Event Input Page clears silently

Hey Guys,

 

Trying to tie a calandar page to an asset builder. When I put my asset builder into the 'Event Input Page' field on the calandar details and commit it, the field clears silently with no error thrown at all. I've seen two similar threads in the forums but both were unresolved. Any ideas?

One issue that can cause this in Matrix is the Suhosin suhosin.post.max_name_length setting being too small and it won't allow that asset chooser value to be set.

 

Take a look at this post, as I think this is possibly your issue (even though the post talks about nested content in a paint layout):

Ok. Interesting. So let me make sure I'm understanding this correctly.  
In my case suhosin.post.max_name_length would dictate the max length of my <input> fields 'name'. Is that correct? Because I can't find any offenders. The biggest I found was 40 something. I don't really want to change the config files if I don't have to.

That is correct. But, like I said I am not sure if this IS happening here.

 

I just know that this was the culprit elsewhere in Matrix when saving an asset with the asset chooser.

Hmm. Thanks for that. I think I might just change it and see what happens. If theres no improvement I can always bring it back down. Rules one thing out.
