Exclude asset/root node settings ignored in Asset Listing

I have an Asset Listing that displays PDFs that are organised in folders, and I have specified Folder as the Asset Type under the Structured Root Selector Options. However, I want to exclude some folders, but regardless of whether I use Exclude Asset or Exclude Root Node or set the Status of the folders I want to exclude to Archived, those folders still appear on the frontend.

Any ideas on where I'm going wrong with this one? Looks like a bug to me...

Hi Pedro,

Are you using Asset Grouping to select those folders you want listed? You can also put a link value to be matched in each of the folders

Clement

Hi Clement, I'm not using Asset Grouping, I don't think it's necessary. The folders are in a section under the Media folder and are already organised in the way I want them to be presented on the frontend, so all I needed to do was select the relevant section as a Root node and everything is then presented on the front end as I want it to be presented. The only problem I'm having is excluding a few folders which for various reasons I want to keep in that section but which I don't want to be displayed in the listing. How do I put a link value to be matched in each of the folders? I put a link value called "docs" in the "Use the link value" field for a folder, but when I save, it removes the value.
