Excluding items in search

Apart from having a lot of root nodes on the search, is there a way to exclude parts of the site tree from the search ?


I know that you can set the weighting to exclude assets, but I am adding lots of pages daily and this is too much work!

When you say the latest DEV, do you mean 3.6 or 3.7? I’m just wondering because this is quite a big issue for us too. It would be great if it is available in 3.6 as we are getting it very soon.
