Exploring Squiz

Hi All,

I am new to Squiz. I need to learn some basics for the new role am commencing and please can someone guide or provide links for a local installation and setup?

Hi Preethy, I’ll just preface this by saying that I’m not a squiz employee I work for myself and run a Squiz partner agency. It may be difficult to setup a local version depending on your technical skills. To find out more about the Squiz DXP I’d recommend registering for the Squiz Academy on the Squiz.net website and using the free structured training there first.

Following that if you have a production environment for work, you may want to set up a sandbox area / site that’s not publicly available for learning and experimenting.

Depending on your sites implementation, you may also need to understand how to use GIT repos and how to manage JS and CCS there, as they connect to a Squiz website and this is often how to manage much of the front end styling.
