Export and import users

Hi,


I trying to export users from MSM 3.20 to 4.2.2 via export_to_xml and import_from_xml scripts.

On 4.2.2 user is created but I can't log in with password from 3.20.

When I edit user and update password (is the same like on 3.20) on 4.2.2 then I can log in.



Any idea how to export/import users between this systems?

Or I need to create users on new server and contact with users and send them passwords?

You wont be able to export user passwords because they are not stored in plain text. You'd have to give all your users new passwords by modifying the XML after it has been exported.
