Im about to change server for my installation.



I've a new server up and running with an installation of v3.4.4, the old one is v.3.2.3

The old one has MySQL as DB server, the new one PostregSQL.



How can I do a transfer of the content from the old to the new server?

You can't copy data from one existing Matrix installation to another. You need to transfer the v3.2 to PostgreSQL first and then upgrade to v3.4.

You can transfer. First off, you’ll need to dump from mysql in a postgres compatible format (there’s a mysqldump option to do this). Make sure it’s running the 3.2 version on postgres happily before trying to upgrade. Then, you can follow the upgrade instructions that are available http://matrix.squiz.net/download/all_versions/3.4.0 .
