Hi guys,
One of the guys today was trying to export out submissions using the export tool.
We are not sure what to set in the save location field? There doesn't seem to be any detail.
Can you guys help out?
Just found the doco on it http://manuals.matrix.squizsuite.net/system-management/chapters/import-tools-manager/
I don't think we actually have set this up in systems management.

Hi,
I guess you are talking about “System Tools: Export Files” here. if that’s so here is the link to help you out.
But I reckon the best way to export the Submission would be the link.

the submissions are documents uploaded via the file upload available in custom forms.
Yep and the Export files manual doesn't give an indication of example of a directory of the system that you would export your files to.
It says in the manual that this needs to be set in the import tools in system management under - CMS File Export Settings.
Who would set up this directory and what is an example of a path?

I use /home/export
Just make sure to give that directory permissions for the apache user.
Someone with admin access to your server would need to set this up.
