Export whole website to file system

Does Matrix allow to export/mirror a whole website to file system?

What do you mean by "a whole file system"? Are you wanting to export all of the files that you have in Matrix?



If so, you can click on the tools menu, there you will see the Export Files tool, which will allow you to select a root node and export all files, even preserving the folder hierarchy.

We want to mirror all the web pages into file system.

If it's a static rip your looking for we normally use 3rd party tools (eg, httrack). Tools like that spider through the front end of the website and create their best approximation of the site as HTML. I say 'best approximation' because they are essentially trying to turn dynamic content into static so alot is lost in the translation (eg, custom forms, search … ).

Also Matrix is not guaranteed to produce URLs that map to files easily eg you can have a file under a file - you need to work out some sort of mapping as index.html or whatever.
