I have been using Xoops for some time now, however I have had trouble adding Flash files to my articles etc. Does MySourceMatrix handle embedded Shockwave files?
You can upload any file type to Matrix including Flash SWF files. You can then insert them using the Embed Movie option within the WYSWYG editor (which also supports MPEG, AVI, Windows Media and QuickTime movies).
