I followed the CMS manual to add an Asset Builder, but I am having problems. Once I am in the asset builder, I see my 3 assets that can be built. But when I click on either of them I get nothing. It does not take me to a page to create these. I have set up all the required info, create locations, assets to create, massages, etc. Any idea why it would just append a # to the URL so I go nowhere?
Also, I am getting the following PHP error in 3.12.0 when in the asset builder:
The # is because we use JavaScript to switch between the create forms of the three types of assets you are able to create. Do you have a %create_form% keyword in your Logged In bodycopy?
Can you limit the Asset Builder to creating just a single type of asset to see if it prints out the form? Also, don't configure any required fields, the Asset Builder will take care of that.
On another topic, is there a particular reason you haven't upgraded to 3.12.3 yet? Its more time-consuming for us to evaluate bugs in 3.12.0 because we usually don't have old versions lying around. We have to go and specifically install one first.
When doing this I just get the "Create an asset using the form below" but no form. When the source is viewed, there is a whole bunch of java there, but nothing is being printed. And when removing the other assets from the asset builder, I got a ton of php notices:
Undefined variable: closest_parent

I'm sorry about this. Our site is still in development, and this is something that has fallen behind. We are getting upgraded to 3.14 on Monday, and I will be sure to keep up with updates after that. Sorry to cause anyone there trouble!

Oh, we don’t mind what version you run, it just makes troubleshooting slightly more challenging. :)’ /> I’d see if you can do a quick in-place upgrade to 3.12.3 to see if this resolves your issue. In fact, upgrading to the latest version should almost always be the second step (after the first step of “give it a whack upside the head”). <img src=‘http://forums.matrix.squiz.net/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif’ class=‘bbc_emoticon’ alt=’
