Global keywords not converted

Hi,


I have a normal standard page (no painlayout, no nesting), in the page content just a single line with global keyword. the page content reads,
  • Annual Report (%globals_asset_type:11111%, %globals_asset_file_size_readable:11111%)


In the front end, it looks
    Annual Report (,)


It seems the global keywords have not been translated. I have tried _nocache, but got no luck.

Then the mystery continues.

If I login as sys admin in the front end I can see the translated keywords 
    Annual Report (PDF File, 121KB)


Any idea guys?

PS. the page has public access, is not in safe edit mode, no user error as I have tested with other pages, same result

Maybe the permissions on the PDF asset? If a user does not have access then nothing is returned… it looks like it could be a permission problem since the sys admin can view it properly. HTH
