Global search and replace tool

Hi all


We have come across something very strange. We tried to search on <h1> and try to replace it with <h2> by selecting an asset called standard page, and it came up with it can't find it. Therefore source codes are not possible to be changed at all.

Which is a bit of case.

Global search and replace cannot be used to change raw HTML code. It is only used to change text content that is indexed and able to be searched.

So, how can we change tags, attributes or classes embedded in content?

Sometimes, it's necessary and you wouldn't want to do it page by page in the source view of the wysiwyg!

There is no tool in Matrix that will help you. You'd have to do it directly in the database or write a script.
