We are using %globals_user_attribute_first_name% and %globals_user_attribute_last_name%, both of which are not getting replaced in Simple Edit. I could have sworn that global keywords worked in Simple Edit, is this not the case?

This issue was reported a while ago and should be resolved from 3.18.1: Bug #2944: Global keywords not replaced in Simple Edit. Please note that this applies only to keywords displayed in Simple Edit Layouts. Further clarification of why this occurs in Simple Edit Layouts only is provided in the related forum thread “Bug #2944”.
Bummer.
They keywords are in a nested conditional div at the top of the page, which is not in a simple edit layout.
So, I assume there is no work around for this other than putting them in the layout?
