Hello,
I am interested in finding a good Website Prototyping tool. I want to create a good demo of the MySource Matrix site that I had in mind, before I begin with the MySource GPL implementation (I have read some of the key MySource manuals and am familiar with some of the key functionalities as these relate to my purpose).
I am aiming to use the Prototyping tool to do further brainstorming / precipitation of key site functionality / content / objectives, etc. Ideally, when done, the demo should be a semi-functioning site that can be viewed in a browser. This design and functionality I would then transfer over to MySource Matrix.
I have looked at a bunch of prototyping softwares and have narrowed it down to Axure; Protoshare; iPlotz; and Balsamiq. I prefer a desktop-based one for under $100 but I don't know if that is a realistic expectation. If there are some good, desktop-based, relatively inexpensive website prototyping tools that anyone can recommend that would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Henderson.
Not being smart or anything, but I tend to use one of these: Warwick Sketch Pad
Otherwise I’ve heard Balsamiq to be quite good, but I’d rather use Photoshop (but that’s over $100 ;))
