Soon to acquire MySource Matrix I am in the process of finalising our hardware requirements and thought I might get some feedback as to what others are doing.
Our skillsets are in Solaris and Oracle so we're looking at installing the next version of Matrix with Oracle support on SUN SPARC.
What information did you use to size the server(s)? Did you use a sizing formula?
Has anyone else installed Matrix on small "front-end" machine deployed outside a firewall, with larger "back end" machines hosting the database?
Has anyone installed Matrix on a shared server alongside other applications?
Basically any information of what arcitecture you are using, if it has performed as expected and would you do anything differently?
